“You must never feel badly about making mistakes ... as long as you take the trouble to learn from them. For you often learn more by being wrong for the right reasons than you do by being right for the wrong reasons.” ―

History and Geography

About our Topics

At Parkfield Community School we use a variety of topics as a medium to teach subjects such as history, geography, art and design and technology. As well as teaching these subjects, the topics are also designed to link with our literacy and even some of our numeracy lessons.

These topics are designed to provide children with an opportunity to learn and develop skills within a context and to create enjoyment and a love of learning.
